The purpose of the Shropshire Historic Churches Trust is:

* to encourage interest in the heritage of our churches.
* to raise funds to assist congregations of all denominations to repair and maintain their historic buildings.
* to provide funds to help bridge the gap between money raised within the local community and the cost of the repair work.
